My art is born from the everyday dance of life — landscapes, encounters, history, politics, chance events, the soul stories we tell each other, the nature of our remembering.

The art and practices of storytelling and everyday dancing form the foundation of my directing and teaching style.

The eye of life comes alive through body imagination and landscape.

Collaborations with fellow poets of memory and history define the SO&SO&SO&SO projects, on-going since 1976.

I believe that creative practice is essential to understanding the self in relationship to the natural and social worlds. The mission is to awaken the senses, embody the voice, ignite the action, and enjoy the process.
