SO & SO ART

Images are the language of the imagination. James Hillman's Archetypal Psychology describes the "poetic basis of mind," which "starts neither in the physiology of the brain, the structure of language, the organization of society, nor the analysis of behavior, but in the processes of imagination."

SO&SO art is created from dance and music, storytelling, dialogues with a camera, drawing and painting, word and image collage. I see no difference between making visual art, writing for the page, and creating performance works. To me, it is all poetry, a by-product of some direct experience with life, a way to engage with the world through the body's expressive nature, a little evidence of... a moment, a movement, a memory, a story.
